- Welcome to "A Special Place in Heaven"...our family blog about the fun, love and hardhips of raising twins. Jason and I were married in January 2006 and had our twin blessings in October 2007. My girls were preemies, born at 34 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia. I was also on bedrest for 8 weeks due to pre-term labor. Suffice to say that anything these two can throw at me is easier than being pregnant with them! :) Addisen is our first born and is so loving, kind, gentle and happy. Parker, born 1 minute later, is rowdy, adventurous and hilarious. Together they keep us totally on our toes and laughing all the time.
