100+ degrees & our first trip in the pool!

YEAH for the new Yuba City Gauche Aquatic Park! They have a 25 foot waterslide for the "big kids", a competitive lap pool, a kiddie pool that is up to 3 feet deep, a spray ground, lots of shady picnic areas, lounge chairs...it was a BLAST! The girls went into the splash area first and sat in the water, splashed around and squealed in delight! Then, we took them into the 3 foot area and they floated on their backs, kicked, splashed, screamed and loved it!!!

Because we had our hands full and the place was packed, we didn't get any pictures or video but we are taking them swimming again on Monday at a friend's house so we will DEFINITELY get some then!!!
